Ingredients
Scale
- 450 g ground beef
- 2 medium sweet potatoes (about 400 g), cubed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 0.5 cup chopped dill pickles
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 0.5 cup burger-style sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220°C and place a baking sheet inside to heat.
- Toss the sweet potato cubes with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread the sweet potatoes evenly on the hot baking sheet.
- Roast the sweet potatoes for about 15 minutes until tender and lightly golden.
- While the potatoes cook, heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef.
- Season the beef with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then cook until browned and fully cooked.
- Divide the romaine lettuce between serving bowls.
- Top the lettuce with roasted sweet potatoes, cooked beef, cherry tomatoes, pickles, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Drizzle burger-style sauce over each bowl and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, season the beef gradually as it cooks.
- Keep the sauce on the side if preparing bowls ahead of time.
- Cut sweet potatoes evenly so they roast at the same speed.
