This 3-Ingredient Cool Whip Candy is an easy-to-make, indulgent treat with a creamy, chocolatey exterior and a fluffy, Cool Whip center. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth in a jiffy!

  • 6 cups milk chocolate chips, divided
  • 8 oz Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 ½ tbsp vegetable shortening

Instructions

  • Melt the Chocolate:
    • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 3 ½ cups of the milk chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth.
  • Mix with Cool Whip:
    • Using a hand mixer, blend the melted chocolate with the thawed Cool Whip until smooth and creamy.
  • Press into a Pan:
    • Line a pan with parchment paper and press the mixture into the pan. Freeze for 30 minutes to set.
  • Slice and Freeze Again:
    • After 30 minutes, slice the mixture into pieces and freeze again for another 30 minutes.
  • Coat with Chocolate:
    • Melt the remaining 2 ½ cups of milk chocolate chips with the vegetable shortening. Coat each piece of candy with the melted chocolate mixture.
  • Chill:
    • Chill the candy for 1 hour to allow the chocolate to set.
  • Serve and Enjoy:
    • Once set, enjoy your delicious, creamy candy!

Notes

  • Store the candies in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
  • For an extra crunch, you can sprinkle some chopped nuts on top before freezing.
