Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin tip steak, sliced ¼-inch thick (freeze for 30 mins first to make slicing easier!)

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 3 tbsp brown sugar

  • ½ tsp garlic powder 🧄

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • (Optional: 1 tbsp liquid smoke for extra depth!)

Instructions

Marinate the Beef:

  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Worcestershire, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

  • Add beef strips, toss to coat, and marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for max flavor).

2️⃣ Air Fry:

  • Preheat air fryer to 180°F (80°C) (or the lowest setting; some models start at 160°F).

  • Arrange beef in a single layer on air fryer trays, making sure pieces don’t overlap. Work in batches if needed.

  • Cook for 2-3 hours, flipping halfway, until dry but still chewy. (Thicker cuts may take longer.)

3️⃣ Cool & Store:

  • Let jerky cool completely before storing in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

Storage: If storing longer than a week, keep in the fridge for extra freshness.
