1 lb (450g) beef sirloin tip steak, sliced ¼-inch thick (freeze for 30 mins first to make slicing easier!)
¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp brown sugar
½ tsp garlic powder 🧄
½ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp black pepper ⚫
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (or ½ tsp smoked paprika for less heat) 🌶️
(Optional: 1 tbsp liquid smoke for extra depth!)
Marinate the Beef:
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Worcestershire, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Add beef strips, toss to coat, and marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for max flavor).
2️⃣ Air Fry:
Preheat air fryer to 180°F (80°C) (or the lowest setting; some models start at 160°F).
Arrange beef in a single layer on air fryer trays, making sure pieces don’t overlap. Work in batches if needed.
Cook for 2-3 hours, flipping halfway, until dry but still chewy. (Thicker cuts may take longer.)
3️⃣ Cool & Store:
Let jerky cool completely before storing in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
Marination Tip: The longer you marinate, the more flavorful the jerky will be. Overnight is best!
✨ Storage: If storing longer than a week, keep in the fridge for extra freshness.
✨ Adjust the Heat: Swap red pepper flakes for smoked paprika for a milder flavor or add cayenne for
