Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix diced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, cornstarch, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Set aside.
- Roll out puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface to smooth folds.
- Cut each sheet into 4 squares. Add apple filling to each center and fold opposite corners over the filling.
- Place danishes on baking sheet. Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden and puffed.
- Cool slightly, then drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar and milk.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.

- Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp for best results.
- Do not overfill pastries to avoid leaks.
- Glaze only after pastries have cooled slightly.
