BBQ Chicken and Beef Pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) Crescent Roll Dough
  • 1 cup Shredded Cooked Chicken
  • 1 cup Shredded Cooked Beef
  • 1/2 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil or Melted Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, shredded beef, BBQ sauce, red onion, cilantro, and shredded cheese. Mix well.
  3. Roll out the crescent dough on a floured surface into a rectangle. Pinch seams to seal if needed.
  4. Spread the meat mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
  5. Roll the dough tightly from one end into a log, then slice into 1-inch rounds.
  6. Place pinwheels on the prepared baking sheet, brush tops with olive oil or melted butter.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  8. Let cool slightly and serve warm. Garnish with extra cilantro if desired.
