Blackberry Mocktail

Blackberry Mocktail

This refreshing blackberry mocktail is bursting with berry flavor, bright citrus, and a hint of mint. It’s quick to make, naturally sweetened, and perfect for any occasion  from brunch to a cozy night in.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 12 teaspoons honey or simple syrup (to taste)
  • 34 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water (or to top)
  • Ice cubes, as needed

Instructions

  1. Place your serving glass in the fridge or freezer to chill.
  2. In a shaker or mixing jar, combine blackberries, lemon juice, honey or syrup, and mint leaves.
  3. Gently muddle the ingredients to release juice and aroma without over-crushing.
  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled glass to remove seeds and pulp if desired.
  5. Add ice to fill the glass.
  6. Top with sparkling water and gently stir.
  7. Garnish with a mint sprig and a fresh blackberry. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use ripe blackberries for best flavor and color.
  • Freeze blackberries and use them as ice cubes to avoid dilution.
  • Make the base ahead and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
