- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1–2 teaspoons honey or simple syrup (to taste)
- 3–4 fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 cup sparkling water (or to top)
- Ice cubes, as needed
Instructions
- Place your serving glass in the fridge or freezer to chill.
- In a shaker or mixing jar, combine blackberries, lemon juice, honey or syrup, and mint leaves.
- Gently muddle the ingredients to release juice and aroma without over-crushing.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled glass to remove seeds and pulp if desired.
- Add ice to fill the glass.
- Top with sparkling water and gently stir.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and a fresh blackberry. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use ripe blackberries for best flavor and color.
- Freeze blackberries and use them as ice cubes to avoid dilution.
