Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain, unsweetened yogurt
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the blueberry puree: Puree the blueberries in a blender or food processor until smooth, leaving some chunks if desired.
  • Mix the yogurt: In a separate bowl, stir the plain yogurt to make it smooth and creamy. If using, mix in the honey.
  • Decorate the molds: Add a small amount of the blueberry puree into the paw pads of silicone molds for a decorative touch.
  • Fill the molds: Pour the yogurt mixture into the molds over the blueberry layer, filling them to the top.
  • Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until the treats are completely frozen.
  • Store: Once frozen, pop the treats out of the molds and store them in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

  • These treats are best served frozen for a cooling effect.
  • Make sure to use plain, unsweetened yogurt to avoid added sugars that are unhealthy for dogs.
  • Honey is optional but can add a little extra sweetness.
