  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup crushed crackers
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a medium baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl whisk cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Place broccoli florets evenly in the baking dish.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the broccoli.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes until bubbling.
  7. Mix crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle on top.
  8. Bake another 5 to 10 minutes until golden.

Notes

  • Freshly shredded cheese melts smoother than pre shredded.
  • Do not overcook broccoli before baking.
  • Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
