- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup crushed crackers
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a medium baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl whisk cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Place broccoli florets evenly in the baking dish.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the broccoli.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 25 minutes until bubbling.
- Mix crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle on top.
- Bake another 5 to 10 minutes until golden.
Notes
- Freshly shredded cheese melts smoother than pre shredded.
- Do not overcook broccoli before baking.
- Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
