Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee, cooled
- 1 to 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon hazelnut syrup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup ice cubes
Instructions
- Brew 1 cup of espresso or strong coffee and allow it to cool slightly.
- While the coffee is still warm, stir in the brown sugar until fully dissolved.
- Add the hazelnut syrup and mix well to combine.
- Fill a tall glass with 1 cup of ice cubes.
- Pour the sweetened coffee mixture over the ice.
- Slowly add 1/2 cup milk to create a layered effect.
- Stir gently before serving and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Dissolve the brown sugar in warm coffee to prevent it from settling at the bottom.
- Use stronger brewed coffee to avoid dilution from the ice.
- Adjust sweetness by increasing or decreasing brown sugar to taste.
- For extra froth, shake the milk in a sealed jar before pouring.
