A creamy, cheesy casserole featuring layers of cabbage, onions, and a rich sauce topped with buttery Ritz crackers for a delightful crunch. A perfect side dish for any meal!

For the Casserole:

  • 1 small cabbage (chopped)
  • 1 Vidalia onion (chopped)

For the Sauce:

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ stick melted butter

For the Topping:

  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 sleeve crushed Ritz crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Cut the cabbage into small pieces and spread it evenly in the bottom of the pan.
  4. Chop the Vidalia onion and layer it on top of the cabbage.

For the Sauce: 5. In a bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, and melted butter. Stir until smooth. 6. Spoon the sauce mixture evenly over the onions.

For the Topping: 7. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, shredded cheddar cheese, and crushed Ritz crackers. 8. Combine well and sprinkle the topping evenly over the casserole.

  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  2. Let cool slightly before serving.
