Carbone Bolognese

A rich and comforting pasta dish with slow-simmered meat sauce and tender ribbon pasta, full of deep flavor and perfect for any cozy meal.

Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 cups crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 300 g pappardelle pasta
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven, cook onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
  5. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Cook pasta until al dente and reserve some pasta water.
  7. Combine pasta with sauce, add cheese, and mix well.
  8. Serve hot with extra cheese.

  • Reserve pasta water for better sauce texture
