- 500 g ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 cups crushed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 300 g pappardelle pasta
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven, cook onion and garlic until soft.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
- Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook pasta until al dente and reserve some pasta water.
- Combine pasta with sauce, add cheese, and mix well.
- Serve hot with extra cheese.

- Simmer slowly for deeper flavor
- Reserve pasta water for better sauce texture
