Ingredients
Scale
- 24 wonton wrappers
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onions until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in garlic powder, ketchup, mustard, and diced tomatoes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes and season with salt and pepper.
- Press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup. Add a second wrapper, slightly rotated, to form a sturdy base.
- Spoon about a tablespoon of beef mixture into each cup, then top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Garnish if desired.
Notes
- Use lean beef to avoid sogginess.
- Double layer the wrappers for better structure.
- Pre-bake wrappers for 5 minutes before filling for extra crispiness.
- Add diced pickles or jalapeños for flavor twists.
