Cheeseburger Wonton Cups

These crispy Cheeseburger Wonton Cups are the perfect handheld snack or appetizer, filled with juicy ground beef, tangy ketchup and mustard, diced tomatoes, and melty cheddar cheese. Quick, fun, and packed with classic cheeseburger flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onions until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, ketchup, mustard, and diced tomatoes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup. Add a second wrapper, slightly rotated, to form a sturdy base.
  5. Spoon about a tablespoon of beef mixture into each cup, then top with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden brown and cheese is melted.
  7. Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Garnish if desired.

Notes

  • Use lean beef to avoid sogginess.
  • Double layer the wrappers for better structure.
  • Pre-bake wrappers for 5 minutes before filling for extra crispiness.
  • Add diced pickles or jalapeños for flavor twists.
