This homemade Chick-fil-A Lemonade is creamy, tangy, and refreshingly sweet! Made with fresh lemon juice, sugar, and vanilla bean ice cream, it’s the perfect copycat treat for summer.
1⅓ cups freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 6 large lemons)
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup VERY cold water
6 cups vanilla bean ice cream
4–5 drops yellow food coloring (optional)
4 sliced lemons (optional garnish)
Blend Lemon Juice & Sugar: Add the lemon juice and sugar to a 7-8 cup blender. Blend at low speed on the milkshake or smoothie setting for 30-45 seconds to dissolve the sugar.
Add Water: Keep the blender at low speed and drizzle in the cold water. Blend for another 10-15 seconds.
Blend with Ice Cream: Add the vanilla bean ice cream to the lemonade. Secure the lid and pulse on low until smooth and well combined.
Serve: Pour into 14-ounce glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
For a more intense lemon flavor, add extra lemon zest.
Use a high-quality vanilla bean ice cream for the best taste.
For a lighter version, swap some of the ice cream with crushed ice.
