- 1 cup heavy cream

- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
- Heat a large pot over medium heat.
- Melt butter and sauté onion, garlic, carrots, and celery until softened.
- Stir in flour and cook briefly.
- Gradually add chicken broth while stirring.
- Add chicken, peas, milk, and cream, then simmer until thick.
- Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley.
- Serve warm.

- Add cream at the end for best texture
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience
