- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 stalks green onions, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 30 dumpling wrappers
- 3 tablespoons chili oil
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your steamer or boil a large pot of water.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of filling onto each dumpling wrapper, wet the edges, fold, and pinch to seal.
- Steam dumplings for 6-8 minutes or boil for 5 minutes until fully cooked.
- Mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, chopped cilantro, sugar, and water to make the dipping sauce.
- Drizzle chili oil over cooked dumplings and sprinkle sesame seeds.
- Serve hot with the dipping sauce on the side.
Notes
- Cover unused wrappers with a damp cloth to prevent drying.
- Do not overfill dumplings to avoid tearing.
- Freeze extra dumplings for later use; cook directly from frozen.
- Adjust chili oil to your preferred spice level.
