- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 large frozen banana
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
- 3–4 ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- In your blender, add avocado, frozen banana, cocoa powder, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
- Blend on high until smooth, scraping down the sides if needed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or consistency as desired.
- If desired, add ice cubes and blend again for extra chill.
- Pour into a glass and garnish as desired.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use a very ripe avocado for the smoothest texture.
- Try adding protein powder or nut butter for extra nutrition.
- Freeze leftovers in popsicle molds for a cold treat.
