These delicious Chocolate Berry Bites feature rich chocolate pound cake cubes topped with a creamy and tangy berry cream cheese mixture. They’re the perfect bite-sized treat for any party or gathering.

  • For the Cream Cheese Mixture:
    • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
    • 1 packet Berry Blast™ Cheese Ball Mix
  • For the Cake:
    • 1 package Classy Chocolate Pound Cake Mix
    • ¾ cup water
    • ¾ cup butter, melted
    • 1 large egg

Instructions

  • Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture:
    • In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and Berry Blast Cheese Ball Mix.
    • Mix vigorously until well combined.
    • Transfer the mixture to a piping bag or a quart-sized freezer bag.
    • Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Bake the Cake:
    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • In a large bowl, combine the Classy Chocolate Pound Cake Mix, water, melted butter, and egg. Mix until blended, being careful not to overmix; the batter will be lumpy.
    • Spread the batter into a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan.
    • Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
    • Let the cake cool completely.
  • Prepare the Bites:
    • Remove the cream cheese mixture from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 20 minutes to soften.
    • Cut the cooled cake into 1-inch cubes.
    • Massage the bag containing the cream cheese mixture to soften it further.
    • If using a freezer bag, cut off a small corner of the bag to pipe the mixture.
    • Pipe the cream cheese mixture onto each cake cube.
  • Serve:
    • Serve the Chocolate Berry Bites as a fun and flavorful bite-sized treat!

Notes

  • These bites can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.
