Cinn-A-Dew Pop Bread is a delightful treat that blends the tang of citrus with sweet cinnamon. Perfect for a breakfast or afternoon snack, this easy-to-make bread pairs wonderfully with a cup of coffee or tea. The cinnamon chips and a sprinkle of cinnamon seasoning make it a warm and comforting dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package POP Bread Mix
  • 1 (12-ounce) can citrus-flavored soda (such as Mountain Dew®)
  • ½ cup cinnamon baking chips
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Apple Seasoning or ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare Batter:
In a large bowl, combine the POP Bread Mix, citrus soda, and cinnamon baking chips. Stir for 20-30 seconds until just combined. The batter will be lumpy, so avoid overmixing.
  • Prepare Pan:
Spread the batter evenly into a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  • Add Toppings:
Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the batter. Sprinkle with granulated sugar and Cinnamon Apple Seasoning.
  • Bake:
Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until the loaf is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool:
Let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Be sure not to overmix the batter, as this can affect the texture of the bread.
  • You can also substitute ground cinnamon for Cinnamon Apple Seasoning if you can’t find it.
  • The bread will stay fresh for a few days at room temperature, or can be refrigerated for longer storage.
