- 1 ½ cups apple pie filling, chopped finely
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease a cast iron skillet.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
- Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture is crumbly.
- Stir in the heavy cream just until combined, then fold in the chopped apple pie filling.
- Using a large spoon or scoop, drop mounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheet or skillet.
- Mix the brown sugar and remaining 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, then sprinkle generously over each biscuit.
- Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until the tops are golden brown and crisp.
- Optional: Mix powdered sugar with a splash of milk to create a glaze and drizzle over warm biscuits before serving.
Notes
- Keep butter and cream very cold for best flakiness.
- Don’t overmix the dough to maintain a tender texture.
- Use store-bought or homemade apple pie filling based on preference.
