  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in raisins, then add milk and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
  4. Turn dough onto a floured surface, gently knead, and press to 1-inch thickness. Cut biscuits using a round cutter.
  5. Place biscuits on baking sheet and bake for 13–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to form glaze, then drizzle over warm biscuits.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature.
