- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 or round baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. In another bowl, melt the butter.
- Cut each biscuit into four pieces and place them in a large bowl or zip-top bag.
- Pour the melted butter over the biscuit pieces and toss to coat evenly.
- Add the cinnamon sugar mixture and shake or toss until all pieces are well coated.
- Transfer the coated dough into the greased baking dish and arrange evenly.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth to make the icing.
- Drizzle the icing over the warm cinnamon roll bites before serving.
Notes
- Don’t overbake to keep the bites soft and gooey inside.
- Double the icing for extra sweetness.
