  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Oreo cookies (about 1215 cookies)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Mini Oreo cookies (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted (for drizzling)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cookie Dough:
    In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  • Mix the Dry Ingredients:
    In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  • Add Oreos and Chocolate Chips:
    Gently fold in the crushed Oreos and chocolate chips.
  • Chill the Dough:
    Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour to help prevent the cookies from spreading too much during baking.
  • Bake the Cookies:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Scoop the dough into balls (about 2 tablespoons each) and place them on the baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie. Press a mini Oreo into the center of each cookie, if desired.
  • Bake and Cool:
    Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may look slightly underbaked but will set as they cool. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Decorate:
    Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the cookies for a decorative touch.
