- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup crab meat (cooked or imitation)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, toasted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Set a large pot of salted water to boil and place a sauté pan over medium heat.
- In the pan, melt butter and cook garlic until fragrant. Add cream cheese, soy sauce, and broth, whisking until smooth.
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Toss the cooked spaghetti into the sauce, adding pasta water as needed. Fold in crab and half the green onions.
- Heat through for 2 to 3 minutes. Avoid overcooking the crab.
- Top with toasted breadcrumbs and remaining green onions. Season to taste.
- Serve warm with extra breadcrumbs if desired.
Notes
- Let cream cheese come to room temperature for smoother sauce.
- Use pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
- Top with crushed wonton strips for extra crunch.
