Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (plus extra for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Mix the Cheese Ball Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chopped cranberries, chopped pecans, orange zest, honey, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  • Shape the Cheese Ball:
Transfer the mixture to a sheet of plastic wrap and shape it into a ball. Wrap it tightly in the plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours to set.
  • Coat the Cheese Ball:
Once chilled, unwrap the cheese ball and roll it in extra chopped pecans for added texture and flavor.
  • Serve:
Serve the cheese ball with crackers, apple slices, or fresh bread for a delicious sweet and savory bite.

Notes

  • You can substitute the honey with maple syrup for a different sweetness profile.
  • If you prefer a spicier kick, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili flakes to the mixture.
  • For a smoother texture, you may also opt for using a food processor to blend the ingredients.
