Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 frozen chicken breasts
  • 10.5-ounce can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup salsa (mild, Herdez brand recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup Hidden Valley® Ranch dressing

  • 16-ounce box rotini pasta (prepared)

Instructions

  • Place frozen chicken breasts into the bottom of a 6-quart (or larger) slow cooker.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together cream of chicken soup, salsa, and minced garlic.
  • Pour the salsa mixture over the frozen chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before the chicken finishes cooking, prepare the rotini pasta according to package directions.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it or cut it into chunks.
  • Whisk in sour cream and Hidden Valley® Ranch dressing into the cream of chicken and salsa mixture in the slow cooker.
  • Add the shredded chicken back into the slow cooker and stir in the prepared rotini pasta. Stir well to combine.

  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can top the pasta with shredded cheese or fresh cilantro before serving.
  • You can also substitute frozen chicken with fresh chicken breasts if you prefer. Just reduce the cooking time slightly.

  • This recipe works well with any type of pasta, but rotini or penne hold the sauce best.
