- 1 tablespoon whole allspice berries
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 10 cups water
Instructions
- Set your slow cooker to low heat while prepping ingredients.
- Combine sliced apples, orange, cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice, and brown sugar in the slow cooker.
- Pour in 10 cups of water to cover the ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Use a potato masher to gently mash the fruit once soft.
- Strain the liquid through a fine mesh sieve into a clean container.
- Ladle into mugs and serve warm, garnished if desired.
