Instructions

  1. Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat
  2. Cook sausage if not pre-cooked until browned and heated through
  3. Add butter to skillet and toast crumpets cut-side down for 2-3 minutes

  5. Cover pan and cook 2-3 minutes until cheese melts
  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, add optional hot sauce or mustard
