This creamy and flavorful grilled cheese features ripe avocado, fresh mozzarella, and juicy tomatoes for a fresh take on the classic! A perfect combination of melt-in-your-mouth cheese and healthy toppings for a deliciously satisfying sandwich.

  • 2 slices of bread (sourdough or your choice)
  • ½ ripe avocado, mashed
  • 23 slices fresh mozzarella
  • 23 slices tomato
  • 1 tbsp butter, softened
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Ingredients:
Mash the avocado and season with salt and pepper. Slice the mozzarella and tomatoes.

2️⃣ Assemble the Sandwich:
Spread mashed avocado on one slice of bread. Layer with mozzarella, tomato slices, and fresh basil (if using). Top with the second slice of bread.

3️⃣ Grill the Sandwich:
Spread butter on the outer sides of the bread. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwich for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and the cheese melts.

4️⃣ Serve & Enjoy:
Slice in half and enjoy warm!
