  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 6 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup chicken broth (or white wine)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, but highly recommended!)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:

  • Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  • Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

2️⃣ Sear the Chicken:

  • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and nearly cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3️⃣ Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, lower heat to medium and add remaining 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp olive oil.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds to 1 minute (until fragrant).
  • Pour in chicken broth (or wine) and scrape up the flavorful bits from the bottom. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in lemon juice for extra flavor.

4️⃣ Finish Cooking:

  • Return chicken to the pan and spoon garlic butter sauce over the top.
  • Let it simmer for 2-3 more minutes until fully cooked (internal temp 165°F).

5️⃣ Garnish & Serve:

  • Sprinkle fresh parsley on top and serve hot!
