- 500 grams ground chicken or beef
- 20 wonton wrappers
- 1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
- 2 tablespoons green onions
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Prepare the steamer and bring water to a simmer.
- Mix ground meat, carrots, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and salt.
- Line the steamer with parchment paper.
- Place filling into wrappers and shape dumplings.
- Steam for 12 to 15 minutes until cooked through.
- Let rest briefly before serving.
- Serve warm with dipping sauce.

- Do not overfill the wrappers
- Keep wrappers covered to prevent drying
- Freeze uncooked dumplings for later use
