Ingredients

  • Egg roll wrappers, 12 wrappers cut into quarters
  • Ground beef, 1 pound
  • Shredded cheese, 2 cups
  • Red bell pepper, 1 medium finely diced
  • Green bell pepper, 1 medium finely diced
  • Green onions, 3 stalks sliced
  • Soy sauce, 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder, 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F.
  2. Cut egg roll wrappers into quarters and fry in batches until golden and crisp, then drain on paper towels.
  3. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
  4. Add soy sauce, garlic powder, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper to the beef and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Arrange crispy wrapper pieces on a large platter.
  6. Spoon the beef mixture evenly over the wrappers.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the top.
