  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, whole wheel
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a small oven-safe baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and gently stir in the minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Place the brie wheel in the center of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spoon the warm garlic butter evenly over the top of the brie.
  5. Sprinkle with thyme, rosemary, and black pepper.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the center of the brie is soft and melty.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey if using.
  8. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Let the brie sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before baking for even melting.
  • Do not overcook the garlic, as it may become bitter.
  • Serve with sturdy bread or crackers for best scooping.
