- 8 ounces brie cheese, whole wheel
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a small oven-safe baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and gently stir in the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Place the brie wheel in the center of the prepared baking dish.
- Spoon the warm garlic butter evenly over the top of the brie.
- Sprinkle with thyme, rosemary, and black pepper.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the center of the brie is soft and melty.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey if using.
- Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
- Let the brie sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before baking for even melting.
- Do not overcook the garlic, as it may become bitter.
- Serve with sturdy bread or crackers for best scooping.
