  • 1 lb medium-sized shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook Garlic and Shrimp:
    Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
    Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
    Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until they turn pink and are cooked through (about 3-4 minutes).
    Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Prepare the Cream Mixture:
    In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, shredded mozzarella, half of the Parmesan cheese, and the cooked shrimp. Mix until evenly combined.
  • Assemble the Dish:
    Transfer the shrimp and cream mixture into a greased 9×9-inch baking dish. Spread it evenly.
  • Make the Breadcrumb Topping:
    In a separate bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
    Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the shrimp and cream base.
  • Bake:
    Bake the dish in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  • Garnish and Serve:
    Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool slightly for a few minutes.
    Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

  • For added flavor, you can sprinkle a little more Parmesan cheese on top before baking for an extra cheesy crust.
