These Grape Crush Cupcakes are a fun and fruity treat that combines the deliciousness of vanilla cake with the sweet flavor of Grape Crush soda and grape jelly frosting. Topped with grape candies, these cupcakes are a whimsical delight for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup of soda (Grape Crush or similar)
  • ⅓ cup of vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of grape jelly
  • ½ cup of butter, softened
  • 2 cups of powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons of milk (as needed)

 

  • Grape candies for decoration

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.

  • Prepare the Cupcake Batter
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla cake mix, soda, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well blended and smooth.

  • Fill the Cupcake Liners
    Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.

  • Bake the Cupcakes
    Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely.

  • Prepare the Frosting
    While the cupcakes are cooling, make the frosting. In a bowl, beat together the softened butter and grape jelly until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing well. If the frosting is too thick, add milk a little at a time until you reach your desired consistency.

  • Frost the Cupcakes
    Once the cupcakes are cool, frost them generously with the grape jelly frosting.

 

  • Garnish and Serve
    Garnish each cupcake with grape candies for an extra touch.
