Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Finely chop parsley and basil, then mince the garlic.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine parsley, basil, garlic, salt, and olive oil.
  3. Stir the mixture until the herbs and garlic are evenly distributed.
  4. Place a silicone ice cube tray on a stable surface.
  5. Spoon the herb and oil mixture into each cube section.
  6. Transfer the tray to the freezer and freeze for about 3 hours until solid.
  7. Remove the frozen cubes from the tray and store them in a freezer safe container.
  8. Use a cube whenever cooking pasta, vegetables, soups, or roasted dishes.
