These Homemade Garlic Butter Cheese Bombs are a delicious, cheesy treat that’s perfect for any occasion. Soft, fluffy dough is stuffed with gooey mozzarella cheese, brushed with garlicky butter, and baked to golden perfection. You won’t be able to eat just one!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 12 small cubes of mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions

  • Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold in the Greek yogurt until a soft dough forms. Knead lightly until smooth.
  • Shape the Bombs: Divide the dough into 12 equal portions. Flatten each piece, place a cube of mozzarella in the center, and seal the edges tightly to form a ball.
  • Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley.
  • Brush and Bake: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, seam-side down. Brush each ball generously with garlic butter.
  • Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. For extra flavor, sprinkle Parmesan on top during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  • Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm and enjoy the cheesy, garlicky goodness!

Notes

  • Feel free to sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top for extra cheesy goodness!
  • These cheese bombs are best served warm right out of the oven.
