- 12 ounces linguine pasta
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook linguine until al dente.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream, chicken broth, cherry tomatoes, and Italian seasoning, then simmer.
- Stir in parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Return shrimp to the pan and combine.
- Add cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper, garnish with basil, and serve.
Notes
- Use fresh parmesan for best results
- Do not overcook shrimp
- Add pasta water if sauce is too thick
