Ingredients

Scale

For the Mini Meat Patties:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)

For the Pan-Fried Potatoes:

  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Mini Meat Patties:
    • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
    • Form the mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.

  • Prepare the Pan-Fried Potatoes:
    • Boil the halved potatoes in salted water for 5-7 minutes, or until slightly tender. Drain and pat dry.
    • Heat olive oil in the same skillet over medium-high heat. Add the potatoes cut side down.
    • Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
    • Stir in garlic, rosemary or thyme, salt, and pepper, and cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Assemble and Serve:
    • Plate the mini meat patties alongside the golden potatoes.
    • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Customization: You can use any herbs or spices you prefer for the potatoes, like oregano or thyme.
