For the Mini Meat Patties:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon dried parsley
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)
For the Pan-Fried Potatoes:
1 lb baby potatoes, halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon dried rosemary or thyme
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Mini Meat Patties:
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
Form the mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Prepare the Pan-Fried Potatoes:
Boil the halved potatoes in salted water for 5-7 minutes, or until slightly tender. Drain and pat dry.
Heat olive oil in the same skillet over medium-high heat. Add the potatoes cut side down.
Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
Stir in garlic, rosemary or thyme, salt, and pepper, and cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
Assemble and Serve:
Plate the mini meat patties alongside the golden potatoes.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Customization: You can use any herbs or spices you prefer for the potatoes, like oregano or thyme.
Serving Suggestions: Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad to complete the meal.
