Mississippi Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 6 to 8 whole pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice

Instructions

  1. Set the slow cooker to low heat.
  2. Prepare the seasoning mix and ingredients.
  3. Sear the beef in a skillet until browned.
  4. Place beef in slow cooker and add all ingredients.
  5. Cook on low for 8 hours until tender.
  6. Shred the beef and mix with sauce.
  7. Serve warm.
