- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 2 cups Chex cereal
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, then mix until smooth.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet, flatten slightly.
- Bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are golden. Let cool completely.
- Melt chocolate chips (and optional peanut butter) until smooth.
- Toss Chex cereal in powdered sugar until fully coated.
- Spread melted chocolate on each cooled cookie and top with powdered Chex cereal.
- Let chocolate set before serving or enjoy slightly warm and gooey.
Notes
- Chill dough for 15 minutes before baking for better shape.
