- 36 chocolate sandwich cookies, finely crushed
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons crushed chocolate cookie crumbs for topping
Instructions
- Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
- Add softened cream cheese to the cookie crumbs and blend until a thick, smooth mixture forms.
- Line a tray with parchment paper.
- Scoop the mixture and roll into small balls, then place them on the prepared tray.
- Refrigerate the truffle balls for about 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl in short intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate until fully coated.
- Place coated truffles back onto the parchment paper and sprinkle crushed cookie crumbs on top.
- Allow the chocolate coating to set before serving.
