Ingredients
Scale
- 6 slices thick-sliced brioche bread
- 6 tablespoons Nutella
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons butter (for frying)
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries (for topping)
Instructions
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt butter.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
- Spread Nutella on one side of three slices of bread, then top with remaining slices to form sandwiches.
- Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides well without over-soaking.
- Place the sandwiches onto the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes per side or until golden brown and crisp.
- Transfer to a plate and top with chopped strawberries. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use day-old brioche for better structure and absorption.
- Reheat leftovers in a toaster oven to keep them crispy.
- You can prep the sandwiches the night before and cook fresh in the morning.
