Nutella Stuffed French Toast

Nutella Stuffed French Toast

This Nutella Stuffed French Toast is the ultimate indulgent breakfast, made with thick brioche slices, creamy Nutella, and fresh strawberries. Crispy on the outside and melty inside, it’s perfect for cozy mornings or special brunches.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 3 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 slices thick-sliced brioche bread
  • 6 tablespoons Nutella
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for frying)
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt butter.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  3. Spread Nutella on one side of three slices of bread, then top with remaining slices to form sandwiches.
  4. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides well without over-soaking.
  5. Place the sandwiches onto the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes per side or until golden brown and crisp.
  6. Transfer to a plate and top with chopped strawberries. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use day-old brioche for better structure and absorption.
  • Reheat leftovers in a toaster oven to keep them crispy.
  • You can prep the sandwiches the night before and cook fresh in the morning.
