These Party Potatoes are the ultimate comfort food—cheesy, creamy, and crispy-topped! Perfect for holidays, potlucks, BBQs, or any gathering, this easy hash brown casserole will have everyone coming back for seconds!

For the Potatoes:

  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen hash browns, thawed 🥔
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup 🍲
  • 1 cup sour cream 🥛
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 🧀
  • ½ cup butter, melted 🧈
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder 🧄
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder 🧅
  • ½ teaspoon salt 🧂
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper 🌶

For the Crispy Topping:

 

  • 1½ cups crushed cornflakes or Ritz crackers 🥨
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted 🧈

Instructions

Prepare the Base:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix hash browns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

2️⃣ Assemble the Casserole:

  • Spread the potato mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

3️⃣ Make the Crispy Topping:

  • In a small bowl, mix crushed cornflakes (or Ritz crackers) with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle the topping evenly over the casserole.

4️⃣ Bake to Perfection:

  • Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and crispy.
