Ingredients

For the Donut Sandwiches: 4 chocolate-glazed donuts, ½ cup creamy or chunky peanut butter, 8 oz cream cheese (softened), ½ cup powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, ½ cup crushed Reese’s cups (or similar peanut butter cups)
For the Peanut Butter Drizzle: ¼ cup peanut butter, 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

1. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the crushed Reese’s cups. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

2. Prepare the Donuts:
Carefully slice each chocolate-glazed donut in half horizontally. Spread a thin layer of peanut butter on the bottom half of each donut.

3. Assemble the Sandwiches:
After chilling, spoon or pipe the cheesecake mixture onto the peanut butter layer. Top with the other half of the donut to form a sandwich.

4. Make the Peanut Butter Drizzle:
In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter and milk. Microwave for 15–20 seconds, stir until smooth, and adjust with extra milk if needed.

 

5. Finish and Serve:
Drizzle the warm peanut butter over the donut sandwiches. Sprinkle with more crushed Reese’s cups if desired. Serve immediately for maximum gooey deliciousness!

Notes

– These are best served fresh but can be chilled for up to 1 day.
– Swap chocolate-glazed donuts for plain or peanut butter-glazed for a twist.
– Use a piping bag for a cleaner filling look.
