- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed

- 3/4 cup light corn syrup

- 2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, 3/4 cup melted butter, and granulated sugar until a soft dough forms.
- Press the crust mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish, making sure it reaches the corners.
- Bake the crust for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
- In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, eggs, corn syrup, remaining 1/4 cup melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth, then stir in chopped pecans.
- Pour the pecan filling evenly over the warm crust.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the center is set but slightly soft.
- Cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing into 16 bars.
Notes
- For deeper flavor, lightly toast the pecans before adding them to the filling.
- Chill fully before slicing for clean edges.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
