This Quick Air Fryer Garlic Bread is the perfect crispy, cheesy treat that’s made in minutes. Using just a couple of tortillas, butter, and cheese, you can make a deliciously crispy garlic bread with minimal effort. It’s an ideal side for pasta dishes, soups, or simply for snacking!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Main Ingredients:

  • 2 flour tortilla shells
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • ½ cup grated mozzarella cheese

For the Seasonings:

  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Italian seasoning, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Tortillas: Lay out your tortillas on a clean surface. Using a spoon or a butter knife, spread a generous amount of softened butter evenly over the surface of each tortilla. Make sure the butter covers all the edges for maximum flavor.

  • Add the Cheese and Seasonings: Sprinkle the grated mozzarella cheese over the buttered tortillas. Then, add garlic powder and Italian seasoning to taste. Place the second tortilla on top of the first to create a sandwich of cheesy goodness.

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). This ensures that the garlic bread crisps up nicely.

  • Air Fry: Once the air fryer is preheated, carefully place the tortilla stack into the air fryer basket. Air fry for 4-6 minutes, checking closely as air fryer cooking times can vary. You’re aiming for golden brown, crispy edges.

  • Serve: Once the garlic bread is crispy and golden, carefully remove it from the air fryer. Optionally, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for a burst of color and added flavor.

  • Enjoy: Serve immediately while warm and crispy! Perfect for dipping into marinara sauce, enjoying alongside pasta, or just as a snack.

Notes

  • Customization: You can easily adjust the amount of garlic powder or Italian seasoning to suit your taste. If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, feel free to add more.
  • Storage: This is best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for 1-2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes to bring back the crispiness.
  • Dips: This garlic bread pairs wonderfully with marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or your favorite dipping sauce.
