This Quick Caprese Naan Pizza combines the best of Italian flavors with the convenience of naan bread. For the Base:

  • 4 naan breads

For the Cheese & Seasonings:

  • 1 (8 oz) block mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 (8 oz) package fresh mozzarella pearls, cut or torn in half
  • 4 garlic cloves, grated
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

For the Toppings:

  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 4 small to medium tomatoes on the vine, thinly sliced
  • Coarse salt, to taste

For the Garnish:

  • Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the grated block mozzarella, olive oil, grated garlic, and a small pinch of coarse salt. Stir until combined and glossy.

  3. Assemble the Pizza: Spread the cheese mixture evenly over each of the naan breads. Arrange the tomato slices on top of the cheese, followed by the thinly sliced red onion. Add a few mozzarella pearls on top for extra cheesiness.

  4. Bake: Place the naan pizzas on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Keep an eye on them as cooking times can vary based on your oven.
