This homemade peach lemonade is the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and refreshing! Made with fresh peaches, lemon juice, and a hint of sweetness, it’s an easy summer drink that’s great for BBQs, picnics, or just cooling off on a warm day. Want a fun twist? Try it sparkling or freeze into ice cubes for extra chill
3 peaches, peeled and chopped
¾ cup sugar
1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 8 lemons)
5 cups water
Make the Peach Syrup:
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine chopped peaches, sugar, and 1 cup of water.
Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally, until peaches soften and sugar dissolves (about 5-7 minutes).
Mash peaches slightly, then remove from heat and let cool.
2️⃣ Strain the Syrup:
Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher, pressing the peaches to extract all the juice.
Discard the solids or save them for a fruity topping!
3️⃣ Mix the Lemonade:
Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and the remaining 4 cups of water to the pitcher. Stir well.
4️⃣ Chill & Serve:
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Serve over ice and enjoy!
Make it fizzy! Swap half the water for sparkling water for a bubbly twist.
Extra cold hack! Freeze some peach lemonade in ice cube trays so your drink never waters down!
Grown-up version? Add a splash of vodka or bourbon for a refreshing cocktail
