Warm, gooey, and incredibly indulgent, these Salted Caramel Baked Oats combine hearty oats with the richness of caramel and a perfect touch of sea salt for a comforting, cake-like breakfast treat.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 medium Ripe Banana
  • 3/4 cup Milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 cup Salted Caramel Sauce (plus more for topping)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt Flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil or Butter, melted
  • Pinch of Cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or ramekins.
  2. In a blender, combine oats, banana, milk, egg, baking powder, vanilla, caramel sauce, salt, and cinnamon. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared dish. Drizzle extra caramel on top and swirl with a spoon.
  4. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes and place in the oven.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden and set.
  6. Let cool slightly, drizzle with more caramel, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for the best sweetness and moisture.
  • Make ahead by blending the batter the night before and refrigerating.
  • Customize with chocolate chips, nuts, or fruit for variety.
