Ingredients
- Medjool Dates: 1 ½ cups, pitted
- Raw Almonds: ¾ cup
- Unsweetened Cocoa Powder: 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
- Sea Salt: pinch inside and extra for sprinkling
- Dark Chocolate Chips or Chopped Chocolate: 1 cup
- Coconut Oil (optional): 1 teaspoon
Instructions
- Blend dates, almonds, cocoa powder, vanilla, and a pinch of salt in a food processor until sticky.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and scoop mixture into small balls.
- Chill balls for 15-20 minutes until firm.
- Melt chocolate with optional coconut oil until smooth.
- Dip each truffle into melted chocolate, coating evenly and sprinkle with sea salt before chocolate sets.
- Let chocolate fully set, about 10 minutes in the fridge.
- Serve and enjoy.
